Teaching Homes for Christ is an all-volunteer organization with the purpose of providing support for home schooling families. In order to maintain the large number of offerings for THC members, we ask every member family to participate by serving on at least one service team each year.
Field Trips and Activities: Many of our THC families
enjoy the variety and number of field trips, classes and activities
each
year. In order to
continue offering
these worthwhile experiences, we ask that each THC family try to plan
at least
one field trip or activity each year. This is in addition to your
service team commitment. If
this is your
first year of home schooling, it is fine to pass on this for one year
to get a
good start at home. The
Field Trip Team
has many ideas for field trips, classes or activities and will help you
as
needed.
Ø
Please read through this list. Think about your
interests, gifts and time. Pray
about where God would have you serve.
Ø Pick out three teams that interest
you. Find the teams
on your Registration Form and write a “1” by your
first choice, “2” by your second choice and
“3” by your third choice.
Ø You may be needed on more than one
team.
Ø
Husbands and/or wives may sign up
to help on teams.
Ø
A team leader may be any husband or
wife who has been a member of THC for at least one year and is actively
home schooling.

the THC statement of Faith.

been active on a team in the past.
Ø
