Where do you meet?

We meet at Glen Arbor Community Church

West Chicago, IL

How often and what time?

We meet the last Monday of the month from August through May from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

What are your meetings like?

Typically our meetings begin with an open time of members being able to browse the library and check out/return materials. This is also a time to sign-up for any field trip or special events. We then have a time of devotion, a special speaker relating to home schooling, and time for fellowship. Some of the monthly meetings are set up to hold academic fairs, curriculum review, mom's encouragement and recognition night at the end of the school year.

What kind of resources are available?  (i.e., library, field trips, etc.)

THC offers a library which currently has over 100 books, videos, tapes, and games for members to check out. The items are then due at the next meeting. There are also field trips set up by members which can be signed up for at the meetings or through the member who set up the field trip. There are also monthly newsletters and regular emails sent to members to communicate relevant information and opportunities for families and students.

How many members are there?

Currently THC has over 50 active families as members.
